THE CENDRAWASIH BAY
Another beautiful sea garden in the nothern part of Irian Jaya is the Bay National Park, not far from Manokwari. To get to this park, Merpati flies once a week to Wasior Using Merpati twin-otter plane. Many tourists have tried to dive in the area and found it very interesting.
Besides sea garden, in the area you may also see many Irian typical birds as well as varied wild orchids. Wasior islands group include Anggrameos,Auri, Mapia and Raja Ampat which is also close to Sorong.
