Geograhpy

 The island of Irian Jaya is the easternmost province of Indonesia with Jayapura as  the provincial capital. Papua New Guinea on the east, Arafura Sea and Indonesia Ocean on the south.

Irian Jaya also geographically varies from one place to the other. From glacier-covered mountain and deep cliff down through formidably steep and rugged valleys, From many types of forest to fresh water swamps, plains and torrid mangrove swamps on the south coast. At the central part mountains tower across the island from east to west such as Mt. Trikora (4,750 m), Mt. Mandala (4,760 m), Mt.
